Teen Hip Hop 1 (Grade 8+)

A street style of dance that uses hip hop or R&B music. Dancers gain an in depth understanding of rhythm, and all dancers learn the basics of Hip Hop, including isolations, popping, locking, footwork, and gliding. Participants also learn the art of a strong performance, and gain experience in choreography. Our instructors regularly train outside of Yukon to ensure that we are up to date with our teaching styles. Our hip hop is authentic and the choreography is excellent. This is one of our most popular classes as there is no other program like it in Whitehorse, and we can ensure that your child is participating in a class that is fun, challenging, and rewarding.
