Studio Policies
1. Students must have proper dance attire in each class. Hair must be tied back securely and no chunky jewelry is allowed. Students will be asked to leave the class if not dressed appropriately. (Please refer to Dress Code for suitable attire for each class)
2. No student is to leave the classroom without permission. If a parent needs to speak with a student, a message can be relayed through the office only.
3. No gum is permitted in the studio.
4. Only water in bottles is permitted in the studios during class. Other food and drinks are restricted to the waiting area only. Please clean up after yourselves.
5. There is no smoking permitted out in front of the studio or on studio property. We are to be setting an example for the children and are promoting a professional and healthy environment.
6. Please do not interrupt a class in progress. Please watch students through the studio windows. Parents are not permitted in the studios during classes.
7. If a problem should arise with your child please talk to the Studio Director (Andrea Simpson-Fowler) or the Secretary on hand. Please do not approach other teachers. The Studio Director will handle all problems.
8. If students are unable to make it to class because of sickness please call the studio and inform the secretary 393-2623. If students are injured, they should come to class with a doctors note and watch the class.
Lost & Found Policy
Items lost and found at Leaping Feats will be kept for a period of six weeks in a bin in the Student Lounge. If items are not claimed in this six-week period, they will be donated to charity.
Weather Regulations
Leaping Feats will shut down at - 35
After school and Evening Classes if Temp. is -35C at 12:00 (noon)
Morning and daytime Classes before 4:00 if Temp is -35 C at 8:00 am
Leaping Feats will contact every school and make an announcement as well emailing the dance school to inform everyone of the cancellation.

*Note that students must have proper attire for the Recital in June, so we encourage everyone to purchase the correct shoes and attire to begin with.

- pink ballet tights
- pink split sole ballet shoes
- hair must be in a bun
- dancers may wear tight shorts or ballet skirt

- tight shorts or pants
- fitted shirt or tank top
- foot undies or bare feet
- plain loose fitting pants, NO jeans
